Product Marketing Managers will work cross departmentally to support the needs of customers both internally and externally. The Product Marketing Manager is ultimately responsible for developing product strategy and marketing execution. The Product Marketing Manager will report to the Senior Director for Global Marketing & Product Management. Client Details This organization is a state-of-the-art disposable medical devices developer/manufacturer that improves healthcare outcomes for clinicians and their patients worldwide, with emphasis on healthcare solutions for women and their infants. Description The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for delivering the knowledge, tools, collateral, and programs that enable effective marketing and selling of the organizations products. Activity must be aligned with global strategic revenue objectives for each product. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : The following duties and responsibilities are intended to be representative of the work performed by this position and are not all-inclusive. Manage 2 to 3 products directly; Lead all products related activities, programs, initiatives, pricing and training, including leading cross-departmental/functional teams at this organization to create product related results; Act as focal point to gather and provide market expertise and knowledge for initiatives across product lines; Work with partners to evaluate and prioritize requests for product changes, enhancements, etc; Collaborate with clinicians and colleagues in both partner companies and throughout the organization including Sales, Engineering, Product Marketing, Product Management, Demand Generation Manager and Regulatory teams to bring solutions to market; Own the product marketing methodology for the organizations products; Lead product campaigns to create awareness and adoption. Work with cross functional launch teams to develop baseline messaging and positioning, collateral, web presence, training, and support for company plans and global roll-out of solutions, following the product marketing methodology; Develop content for product solutions, including, but not limited to: solution presentations, solution briefs, white papers, training materials, architectural diagrams, use case documents, data sheets, video overviews, scripts for promotional videos, and input for press releases and PR activities, etc; Act as a Clinical Innovations spokesperson for product solutions in customer meetings, trainings/in-service, conventions, etc; Work closely with sales and customer support to competitively differentiate the product or product family and resolve issues and problems. Profile 5+ years of experience in medical device marketing or product management; Bachelor''s degree in business, sales, marketing or engineering; Advanced degree in business management, marketing, or planning desirable; Able to operate as a matrix manager in coordinating people and technical resources from multiple areas of the company; Able to operate without supervision with excellent time management, decision making and organization skills; Team management experience with understanding of contemporary marketing ecosystems; Experience working with clinicians and KOL''s on product solutions; High level of knowledge of all products, company policies and practices; Thorough knowledge of long-range and operational planning techniques; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Must be able to work well with others as part of a team. KNOWLEDGE, LEADERSHIP AND SKILLS: Manage product lifecycles - conduct post -launch reviews, assess line extensions, market expansion possibilities, and manage pricing; Lead data collection and analysis to understand product usage; Ability to lead, develop, mentor and motivate others across disciplines; Clinical or technical background desired; Communicate at a variety of levels with a variety of methods within the corporation; Strong business & financial understanding & competencies including budgeting and forecasting; Customer focused with effective customer interaction; Work as a team for success and share credit with trust demonstrated at all levels; Learn quickly with flexibility to adapt to changes in strategy, circumstance or the unexpected; High energy and positive attitude with ability to work outside comfort zone; Consistently act in line with a clear and visible set of values and beliefs, high character; Can align long-term goals and short-term needs with individual and team goals (see the big picture while operating functionally); Continuous learning to maintain state of the art and leading-edge thought and up to date approach to techniques, procedures and processes; Able to complete tasks in a timely manner and honor committed agreements.
