Job TitleHead of Business Engagement – Product EngineeringJob DescriptionIn this role, you have the opportunity to shape and build the future of Product Engineering – being at the heart of our Strategy & Innovation office at Philips!In this key position, you will head the Business Engagement department of our growing Product Engineering group – encompassing Marketing & Digital, internal and external Business Development, Sales, and driving our US hub expansion.If you are a well-rounded leader with both, Research & Development Program Management experience as well as Marketing & Sales background, we might have the opportunity you are looking for!You are responsible forYou will be part of the Product Engineering Management Team. As such you will be:Crafting the strategy as well as operationalizing it by setting realistic sales, margin and growth objectives – as well as budgets;Business partnering with internal and external clients of Product Engineering as well as capability management: making sure that the right competencies are being in place or developed to execute the projects we commit on;Delivering on the Sales and margin targets we set for ourselves;Driving Digital Marketing activities – together with the Head of Digital and Marketing;Building our international network and driving the realization of a US hub leveraging global Product Engineering resources;Establishing a culture of change and collaboration whilst driving innovation in an agile way of working;You are a part ofThe Business Engagement department is part of Philips Product Engineering organization and located on the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven (the Netherlands). Learn more about how Philips Product Engineering fits the strategy of PhilipsTo succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience A global leader with at least 10+ years of successful track record in planning and executing large programs (project management or/and PMO role) on a global scale - preferably in a business/product development environment;Displays strong market, content, and technology knowledge in the medical domain;Shown affinity with running sales, marketing and key accounts in a global business;Conceptual thinker with demonstrated experience of leading projects and teams in a cross-cultural, cross-functional and multi-site environment;Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to influence, educate, guide, and convince at all levels.Solutions mentality – the ability to identify and tackle complex problems with detailed consideration of alternatives, consequences;In return we offer youA path towards your most rewarding career.
