As a Leor Educator you will attend family homes to deliver early childhood education to a maximum of three children at a time. You might choose to work for us for as little as three hours per week or on a full time basis.

We are looking for early childhood educators with qualifications in children’s services or early childhood education at a Diploma level or above. Salary: $57,500 to $80,000 inclusive of superannuation (salary determined according to qualifications and experience). This salary is for Full Time roles, salary will be calculated on a pro rata basis for part time roles.  

Essential Requirements   

• Diploma in early childhood education and care (or similar field), or higher qualification Academic studies relating to the Early Years Learning Framework, or similar international framework
  
• At least one year’s experience in a childcare setting
  
• Working with Children Check
  
• No criminal history
  
• First Aid Certificate    

Desirable  

• Experience applying the Early Years Learning Framework or similar international framework
  
•  Experience in educational programming
  
• Experience in an in-home care setting
  
• Anaphylaxis Management Training
  
• Emergency Asthma Management Training   

Overview of the role

• Delivering high quality education and care in the family home to up to three children at a time
• Applying Leor Curriculum and adapting it to the needs of each child
• Observing children’s learning and development and reporting to your Manager/Supervisor on a fortnightly basis
• Preparing Leor Learning & Development Reports on a quarterly basis
