WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

As the Delivery Director EMEA, you will be leading the team that enables Nike to bring its world-class products and experiences to market. You will work across a number of capabilities to understand portfolio roadmaps, programs, and key value drops.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON

• Build and influence effective release framework strategies and governance with a continuous delivery mindset across multiple teams and geographies

• Anticipate, identify and facilitate the team to solution issues concerning the delivery of technology to production

• Own relationships with key business stakeholders to understand and anticipate current and future business needs

• Communicate effectively at multiple levels within the organization through written and verbal communication, both formal and informal

• Influence and inspire a high level of performance to help team members achieve goals.

• Create and foster an environment that values and promotes autonomy, skill mastery, empowerment, transparency, innovation, and continuous learning

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH

In true Nike fashion, you will partner closely with teams including program, product, engineering, release engineering, and quality teams around the globe to execute releases, continually improve process, achieve efficiencies, and deliver a quality product timely.

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business, or a related field; 8 years of additional relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree

• Direct experience leading teams in a large scale enterprise, using development and deployment automation tools in the software development and deployment lifecycle

• Strong understanding in delivering technology to production across multiple teams and problem solving (including agile - lean, continuous delivery methodologies)

• Able to influence and communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with team members and business stakeholders

• Experience understanding new technology designs, platforms and delivery frameworks

• Tested skills with influencing critical business outcomes in a matrix based, global environment

• Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve both people and process related issues and resolving end-to-end issues with higher levels of management and executive leadership

• Experience operating in a continually transforming, fast-paced, complex, high visibility environment with multiple competing priorities
